big problem i am banned

    my forum banned me i cant login to CP
    i am site admin how to fix this problem please ?


  • Actually what most likely happened is that he has "This is NOT a banned usergroup" set to No for his unregistered/not logged in usergroup and logged out. Most common cause of errors like this is inappropriate permission settings.


  • To restore your Admin status, download the vB zip file for your version, then extract the 'tools.php' script from the 'do_not_upload' folder. Then upload this file to your Admin CP directory and run it from your browser. Use the appropriate option to promote your user to Admin using this option:

    [Reset Admin Access]

    Then immediately remove this script.

    Did someone login into Admin Control Panel (hacked ?) and ban you ?
    Or the systems automatically banned you ? If so, why will that happen ?
