Thank you very much for your timeYou can do latest replies, using the built in RSS feature. Try http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/external.php?type=RSS2. You'll also need an RSS reader, like http://www.dynawebdesigns.com/dynamic/xml/rsspal.php, to embeded into an external page.Sure, let us know your progress so we all can learn from it. :)It seems like you have a password on the members folder on your domain.
Edit: You also need to enable RSS an XML syndication (AdminCP > External Data Provider)good point! thanks anywaySince the script will need access to the data, it won't show anything if you don't allow it to access the data. The only way is somehow automatically fetch the userID and password. I don't know how to do that, nor do I recommend you to since it will open up a whole new can of worms as far as security is concern.
Instead of password protecting the forum using an external program, see if the built in feature will satisfy your requirements. That way, it will protect the forum data and not just block everyone from the web folder.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
